EU still unhappy with Windows 10 data collection, despite changes

John and Jane doe could do that with a tablet or phone. There's no need for a traditional computer anymore for those kinds of users. Microsoft owns the enterprise environment and that's where I suspect a majority of people still have to deal with it now, regardless of personal equipment. You can read your personal emails on your iPad. Chances are high you're reading your work email in Outlook because that's what your company purchased.

The traditional computer is dying outside of corporations. Users don't need a $800 laptop when they already bought a $800 phone that does 99% of what they need. Linux users are highly delusional. Someone checking their email can use Linux. Someone in a professional environment using tools such as VS, Office, Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop, etc, are NOT going to find worthy alternatives. LibreOffice/OpenOffice don't match MS Office. Some shitty open source compiler will never match VS. Get out of your basement and interact with people outside of a Linux message board.
