Is this even legal?

Oh god if only I was in this fucking class.

I have been profiled by the police. I was pulled over high, after a fight, in a school zone, 30mph over the speed limit. I didn't have my insurance on me and my tags were expired.

Cop said 'I trust it's all good' and handed me the ticket. I could have been in jail.

Try to tell me that cop didn't profile me. Just because it was positive, doesn't mean I wasn't profiled.

'But but but ' says the professor, 'I was talking about discriminatory profiling.'

'Ok, great!' I would say. 'You've brought up how you don't think people can be racist towards white people. Can they be discriminatory?'

The professor has fallen into my trap.

'Since we seem to have decoupled the terms racial discrimination and racism, why don't we just establish that for the class now. Racism, strictly defined your new way as a one way interaction down a power gradient, cannot be practiced by members of the dominant culture. Discrimination, or being an asshole to someone based on generalizations you make about their race, is possible for everyone, and everyone who discriminates based on race is an asshole!'

I got a little to into that.
