Have you ever left in the middle of a date? If so, why?

Having only recently started dating, I've had some epic failures with my dates. This one recent one, lets call her Mary, we went out to dinner and it was normal until we started talking about our goals in life. She is an absolutely beautiful woman, just to get that out there, so landing a date with her looking the way I do was kind of a miracle to me at the time. I should have known something was wrong when a 9 goes out with a 3. When talking about our goals, the first thing she says is "I just want to get knocked up, marry that guy and have him pay for me to raise our kid together". She said it in a way that came off as completely serious, so I initially laughed and then went "Oh you're serious". In retrospect, I should have done the Bender "Oh you're serious, let me laugh harder" but I'm not that big of a dick. Anyway, once i realized she was 100% serious about her statement, I politely excused myself from my seat to go to the restroom. Before I dashed, I did find our server and pay for my half (maybe a little more) of my meal, I know too many servers to screw someone like that. The second it was paid I ran as fast as I could. 15 minutes later I get a text asking if I'm okay, never EVER responded. What followed was what I could only describe as the most hateful voicemails and series of texts one could ever imagine. I didn't care how beautiful she was, her goal was to be a trophy wife for some poor schlub whom she would never truly love, she only loved money and men with lots of it. I do sometimes feel bad about ditching her like that...

TL;DR: On 1st date girl says she wants to get knocked up and be a trophy wife, 100% serious. I left her high and dry middle of the meal.
