I understand that quote "how you get them is how you lose them" more now as I process this breakup. It's sad but it's true. I just wish we could have been the exception to that rule. He texted me some bs about how he needed some time to truly think about what he wants and figure himself out and that he wasn't ready for a relationship. Idk, just writing that angers me because days before that he said he wanted to be with me and we were making plans and everything. I also saw him engaging in his exes pictures on social media when he never did when we were together. Just confirms my gut feeling that he left me for her and I have no right to mad.
