Extreme loneliness

Yeah man. I agree with a lot of others are saying here. I felt lonely when I was a reservist in college. I came back from boot camp/MOS school, year away. I left mid way through college to join. When I came back, I didn’t connect with anyone. I was drinking and smoking and not being with right people just so I wouldn’t be lonely. Please try not to drink or escape through drugs. Keep active through a hobby/PT. Maybe your school has a Veteran Affairs on campus. Maybe they’re are prior service devil dogs and just other prior service members to get to know. Hang out with the right people. Focus of your schooling. And you have a great advantage with skills that other civilians and college kids just won’t have /understand. Good luck brother. My dm is open anytime. I fell hard and I got kicked out of the USMC. I was lost and lonely in college. I dropped and and got discharged from the USMC in a 2 month span. I know have two kids and trying to get back into uniform to finish a full enlistment. Not gonna lie it haunts me. It is what it is, it is what is was. Just don’t give up. It’ll get better I promise.
