The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter can’t dogfight according to test pilot

I'll sum it up for you; the F-35 can take off from carriers and is capable of STOVL

Let us be honest. There are three varients of the JSF so one type can do STOVL, One type is a carrier-based trap jet, and one type is a regular air force jet. None of them can do all three.

is a VLO platform with the best radar and avionics systems around, as well as weapons themselves.

IT has stealth. Great. It doesn't have the best radar or avionics around...that's the F-22's gig...and the reports are saying the radar and avionics don't perform nearly half as well in the real world as lockheed claims in their documentation.

The aircraft has many core issues as the other poster stated. Anyone who is an war plane geek knows these issues. It is overweight, oversized, underpowered. The gearbox for the lift fan burns out quickly under combat loads and like the harrier, the aircraft has to have limited fuel and armaments to get off the ground vertically.

They had to lighten the aircraft by over 3,000 lbs just so they could lift more than just the fuel and airframe with the lift fan, meaning they put a thinner skin on the aircraft, removed a few backup systems and fuse boxes...which makes the aircraft (per the DoD) 25% more vulnerable to critical damage by enemy fire.

The JSF can carry 4 missiles/bombs internally and still maintain stealth. It has external underwing and wingtip hardpoints, but then stealth is out the window.

It performs better than every aircraft its replacing

Not trying to be rude but all evidence points to the contrary, unless you don't believe any of the test pilots or reviews by the military but are willing to believe everything Lockheed says.

Just because some blog known for bias and fabrication of data says its bad, doesn't mean it is.

It is easy to just brush off a blog and say "They lie, don't believe this report"

It makes you look silly when a simple search in Google for "F-35" and clicking on the NEWS tab shows Popular Mechanics and a few other sites and blogs saying the same thing.
