That’s where I stand with my current job. I let them know a few weeks ago that I’m not going to be here for a few days. My boss told me that it’s a bad time because we have a lot going on and wanted to have a meeting the next morning.

I reiterated to him that next morning that I wasn’t asking for time off, I was letting them know I’m not going to be here, and whatever that constitutes, I’m okay with… thing is they can’t afford to lose me because they already underpay me and nobody else is going to take this job for what they’re offering.

Boss said it “kind of feels like like a sword in their side” when I just let them know like that… maybe they should have felt the same way when they told me to my face that the new person they higher for my position is gonna get paid more than me… even though they’re gonna expect them to learn from me LOL.
