The $7.25 minimum wage is especially dehumanizing when you consider that the minimum wage would be $23 if based on worker productivity

We have to go back to preparing dishes with basic ingredients and food and vegetables. I started growing my own garden because im getting so tired of consumerist bull shit and want to pull away as much as i can. I lose time on the prep work, so thats where i end up eating the incurred cost instead paying something outrageous for some scummy prepackaged junk food, but at least Im nourishing my body instead of doing bad for it, enriching my skills, and engaging in my hobby while cooking. Honestly the cost of pricing me out of their shitty junk food was never that high to begin with, "they" just lost me as a customer. Guess the rest of the world doesnt care and is still picking up the bill agreeing to the bullshit, but not me any more. If maybe enough people made personal changes and stopped buying their garbage they wouldnt ever even be able to afford to raise prices bc drop in demand... yet here we are.
