Im not some skinhead with tattoos or hang war flags in my room, I agree with pre-holocaust nazi ideology. I didnt just say "I like nazis, so I agree with them", my view are formed from extensive research in science and politics and they are the ones that were similar to Hitlers.
The ol' "I'm an expert on science, history and philosophy," no fancy degrees of course, they just did some reading on a couple of conspiracy sites, watched some Youtube and have decided something like....the slaves should have never been freed.....or that there is some kind of Nazism that isn't anti-semitic (guess he missed reading Mein Kampf in all his amazing research). Here's a fun quote from Mein Kampf, again, written in 1924 while Hitler was in jail, nine years before he even became chancellor of Germany:

Yeah, he's fine with that pre-war Nazism that in no way lead to pograms and then the holocaust, that was, you know.....an accident or something? Guess he missed reading Hitler's magnum opus when he was researching the Nazi party. Nothing says expert like skipping the work of the guy who invented the Nazi party!
Seems like random information on the internet has fueled every moron on earth to proclaim themselves an "expert" because they watched some videos and did some "research" at the web sites of various lunatics with a callback to part of a Wikipedia article once or twice. I've got a master's degree in European history (with thesis), and a BA in history and political science (wrote a thesis on US history & politics for this one), and even I realize I am not an expert in every area outside of my own. You learn this when meeting/reading the works of actual experts, they know a lot more than you based on decades of research with primary source material, in archives, on archaeological digs, followed up by writing peer reviewed articles and the publication of multiple academic books etc. Then you have these internet warriors, almost always ultra right wing, Nazis, proto-fascists, Trump supporters, who claim they are "experts" on the US government or history or whatever because 911wasaninsidejob.com had a great youtube series they watched that one time.
