Father and son doctors die of coronavirus after treating COVID-19 patients on Florida front lines

I didn't say exempt, you twat!

I have had escalating allergic reactions to various injections, mostly vaccines (one not a vaccine but a medicine delivered by injection) for about 7 years before we finally out the pattern together. It was not well documented by my HMO. They did not and so not know what specifically is in the injection that I am allergic too.

I stopped having yearly flu shot after the last, worst reaction. My symptoms that final time began within 5 minutes & escalated to by 10 minute mark to impaired motor skills, impaired cognitive/verbal function, very low blood pressure, low body temperature, blue extremities. I was discovered by a nurse after I had the injection and while I was waiting to get an x-ray. I was nearly unresponsive and rushed by wheelchair (I could no longer stand or walk) to emergency care. If she hadn't seen me and if she had 'minded her own business" there is a good chance I would have died.

My children nearly lost their mother (if the nurse hadn't found me and if so hadn't than gotten administered medicine for that severe allergic reaction).

That was my 6th and final of the escalating reactions (5 to annual flu vaccine, 1 to an injected medicine).

After that final reaction, no more shots for me. I really do desire an annual flu vaccine, so my primary care physician and I met more about a few years ago. I was referred to an allergist. My primary care physician assured me that given a microdose (as I understood him explain it, I'm no doctor), under very regulated conditions and under constant observation, the allergy doctor could get to the bottom of what was happening and I coordination with my primary care, even work on "fixing" the allergy (again, I'm not a doctor).

The day of the appointment with the allergist, that doctor saw my history, the documentation of the last most recent reaction, and took a hard pass. She said it was extremely dangerous for me to ever get an injection again, and that due to poor record keeping, I (and my physicians) would probably never know what specifically is the common ingredient in most injections that is causing my allergy. We both agreed it is something in the injection, because on of the shots I reacted to was not a vaccine but a medicine and I have before and after the reaction taken the exact same medicine by mouth with no reaction.

She outright refused to deliver the supervised microdose of the flu shot. She said she did not want to be held responsible with what could happen if we went that course.

She advised me to get a medical alert bracelet engraved with this info and to never get another injection or vaccine again.

I never tell that story (I'll probably delete it) because I don't want some antivaxxer to see my story & think vaccines are evil.

Vaccines are great and necessary, both for individuals and society. But I am one of a very very infinitesimally small minority of individuals with a documented serious reaction to vaccine injections. All literature shows there are rare adverse reaction. My doctors and medical rexorsds are from ine very established, conservative HMO, they are MDs, and this is not made up. It is in extremely dangerous for me to receive a vaccine shot. The end.

But no, you and your Google research skills must be right.
