Fed up with cost of living, California landlord moving to Colorado — with tenants in tow

It's entirely possible they're one of the individuals responsible for making their own state so shitty. Ipso facto, no reasonable person would want them spreading that same ideology and behavior to the next state

Just an FYI, there are people leaving California because they're constantly voted down in Every. Single. Election. We aren't a monolith, politically speaking.

As for over crowding and rising COL, yeah I get it. It's actually why I left my former home in CA, and I can assure you it wasn't from anything I voted for or against. The skyrocketing housing prices were due in part to rampant real estate speculation brought about by national government policies, combined with local building restrictions, neither of which I agree with.
