For smokers using tretinoin, will it diminish the tretinoin effect?

I think it makes a lot of sense too!! Yeeears if therapy and lots of money, I’ve learned the psychological mechanisms pretty well…the practical application is a serious struggle still though. But at least understanding the why I can try to be a little nicer to myself about it. It helps sometimes, other times not much. But it at least keeps me from completely blaming myself for all of my “failures”.

So like disclaimer though…I’m not purporting to be saying that I’m right, I’m certainly not formally trained here but I’m the researching and trying to find answers type (even when there are no answers, sometimes following the logic (and ensuring validity and soundness) is answer enough for me to make changes. idk hope this makes sense basically saying this insight is true for me but maybe for you, it isn’t. But worth exploring your own personal “whys”, it really helps. Addiction is seriously so nasty and I hate hearing that you blame yourself for relapsing, it’s not your fault…it’s just your responsibility and there is a distinction there I find profoundly comforting.
