dermatitis from tret/occlusive?

i’ve been using tretinoin for over a year now with different moisturisers. for the last few months i’ve been using a thick occlusive moisturiser with no problems.
about a month ago i developed a small red patch on one side of my nose, this has increased in size and redness over the past month or so.
i’m not sure if this could be perioral dermatitis. i was perhaps overusing tretinoin, and using a lot of occlusive, so maybe these could have been causes? also the weather is very cold right now, i have been sleeping less, and my skin also seems to get particularly irritated when i shave.
i’ve stopped using tret and the occlusive moisturiser. right now i’ve just washed my face with water and am going to wait until tomorrow morning to see if that has any effect.
can anyone help me in saying whether this might be perioral dermatitis?
