Former CIA Analyst Warns Russia Threat Being Ignored Like Al-Qaeda Was Pre-9/11

You're kidding right? Trump said that he wants to bring back torture, bomb innocent family members of terrorists, and limit 1st Amendment rights by "opening up libel laws". Like any good authoritarian, he hates the press and wants to shut them down. Oh, and he still loves NSA spying. GOP response: thunderous applause.

What does any of that have to do with your original claim that Obama was only unpopular among conservatives. People on the left most certainly has issues with NSA spying, drone strikes (especially the murder of Anwar al-Awlaki), as well as well of the lack of a public option in the ACA. Look up any Greenwald article from the time if you need proof.... also don't forget about bailing out the banks but not homeowners. Or was the Occupy movement nothing but a bunch of conservatives? Also remember the Democrats Congressional/Senate seats in every election starting in 2010. People like Obama now because they have seen how bad the alternative can be. It is straight up bullshit to claim that Obama was only criticized by Republicans when he was in office.

Obama is the Michael Jordan of politics. He's thoughtful, intelligent, inspiring, relatable and has charisma coming out of his oversized ears. All of the other Democratic candidates were anti-war too. Any of them would have won vs. Bush. Obama didn't need 9/11 to win.

Obama didn't run against Bush... And if you recall the primaries boiled down to who voted for the Iraq war and who didn't. That is directly tied to 9/11. Clinton's record was tarnished for supporting the war when Obama never did. Obama's stance of never being pro-Iraq war is what pushed him past Hilary.
