Former sailor details misconduct by SEALs pulled from Iraq

Not surprising that the book and movie are both full of self-promoting bullshit.

Another fine example of this is the book by Maj. Rusty Bradley - Lions of Kandahar.

This is a self-glorifying account by a crumb-snatcher looking to make some money peddling his account of an important battle sequence. He minimizes or ignores the contributions of everyone else involved and grabs all the attention and glory for himself and his unit. I have a relative who was an important active participant in the events described in the book. This person was stoked to know that a book would be written about the whole thing and when it was published bought it straight away. Disappointment was an understatement. No mention of other unit's roles in most cases and actively taking credit for things the author and his unit played a lesser role in.

Def. - Crumb-snatcher - Someone who craves attention so much that they claim credit for everything good that happens while ignoring all the blame for problems they caused or contributed to.
