No active cases and no new cases of Covid-19 in New Zealand

Yes! New Zealand has done exceptionally well. Australia has also absolutely smashed it! As an Aussie I'm looking on with envy and bias.

Australia population 25,499,884 NZ population 4,822,233 So the multiple is 5.29

Confirmed cases 1504 (x 5.29 = 7956 expected) Actual Australian result 7265) or 8.69% better result for Australia.

Mortality rate in NZ 1.46%, Australia 1.40%

Tests per 1M population NZ 58,945 Vs Australias 64,054

Deaths NZ 22 ( x 5.29 = 116) Australia currently 102

Australia pips NZ in all those metrics per capita.

Not taking anything from NZ, Congratulations! They smashed it! We can't even come close at our 457 active cases (mostly returned travellers) but the main point is to let us Australian's know, that even though we know we are doing well, we might just be doing better than we even think.
