Forming emotional attachments to people.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. As you can see I am new to Reddit. I didn't notice or even know I had message capability. "The 5 love languages" is an interesting read. As an INTP you probably experience love and affirmation largely through words because they canvey ideas. Other people experience love and affirmation through other means like acts of service. My wife is an acts of service kind of person and couldn't care less for words. I say "I love you" words, a language she can't hear. I could care less for acts of service. She says "I love you" in a language I can't hear. We both know we love each other but weren't getting that affirmation. Fortunately we are both introverts and don't need much affirmation. Everyone needs some though. Try understanding what is meaningful to people you care about and do those things. Also, don't be a homebody, get out and do stuff. I love motorcycles and reformed theology (thus the name reformed biker) so a great place for me to make meaningful relationships is through motorcycle clubs and church.

I hope this helps!
