Forum: No benefits to house officers' 30-hour shifts

I get it, it's very tough.

But I see so many doctors on my Insta showing off their omakase, their branded handbags, nice cars, and big houses. Oh some even very helpfully shared their insane pay cheques moving into private. And mind you, these are doctors that are in their late twenties to mid thirties.

So you want same pay for less gruelling hours?

I don't mind doctors having reasonable hours. But tbh, the bulk of doctors are only in it for the money, and not because they're compassionate human beings who care for society. If you don't care for our health, why would I care that u work 30hrs, when you're getting that astronomical salary anyway?
