Okay. Here comes a rant.

I'm a very opinionated person. However, I tend to save these opinions and talk about them with close friends or cliques of people I can trust. But this has been really bothering me as of late.

As you may or may not be aware, the server known as Multicube is going to be closed down due to financial restraints. If you wish to read more, read here. I've never really played on that server nor did I ever plan on doing so. But what got me annoyed was the number of tweets sent to Tom and Dec from fans that were evidently upset about the closure. Don't get me wrong, I've had bad stuff to say about Dec and Tom in the past but the "hate" is massively undeserved and here is why.

A lot of the tweets are simply stating that all Tom had to do was pay more for the server and they could keep the place they loved all so dearly.

For example, the tweets I have seen are:

OH SO HE IS JUST GIVING AWAY MONEY NOW AND YET HE CANT PAY FOR A SERVER

Not like you ever did anything for Multicube other than payements. But, who am I to judge an owner who's never on.

My complaint is that Multicube server and website, was a meh site. It got a few hundred players and people on at one time. But I bet none of them donated to keep the server alive. They all relied on Tom and Dec to foot the bill but the moment they can't afford to keep it up anymore, they turn their backs and start hurling abuse at them. If they loved the server that much, why didn't they donate to make sure it stayed up?

I think it's disgusting the amount of abuse Tom and Dec are getting for simply making a sensible business decision. Now don't get me wrong, I've been angry with Tom and Dec before and I've dislike a lot of what they have done. But this is all undeserved.
