Pls Don't make martha a God

I'm unhappy with God Martha's progression moreso for continuity reasons/what it's done to wag's character/ianite 2.0ness rather than "more gods" being a problem.

God!Martha kinda inadvertently partially ruined wag's character for me. I liked what was going for him, the independent from gods (not their pawn) spiel. But currently he's a "champion" just like the others. Very typical. It wasn't like Wag was horribly lost without a god to follow. He was doing fine; him not have a "boss" was kinda refreshing. Now insert tom gif of: "You've ching'd". And I mean... Wag getting a god catering exactly to his interests coincidentally? Where have I seen that before? Oh wait.

This isn't a new plot element. It's a similar thing as to what happened with Ianite and Sparklez. If you remember initially in season 1, Sparklez didn't choose anyone available: which at the time were only dianite and mianite. His choice was 'neutral' and no side- but then when being bothered continuously about his godlessness said "ianite" initially as a joke, so a new god was created for him. and what did that god represent- LITERALLY NEUTRALITY- what sparklez aligned with personally.

And what pattern do we see with wag here also. "I don't need a god. I have my magic". So what are we getting? LITERALLY A GOD OF MAGIC. This is basically the origin for what will be BOTH female gods of mianite. I mean you can pull the "like mother like daughter" poke at the irony. Still. Sorry if I'm not that enthusiastic.

So agnostic/not-picking-a-side-but-their-own main characters turned worshiper aka converting not once but twice. (More particularly ooc or contradictory in wag's case, because he expressed many a time how he was "above" needing a god. You gonna tell me he's just lovestruck and got over his initial attitude like magic? Not to mention he's contradicting the wizard laws: that you are almost a god yourself- and so not supposed to align with another god- or you tip the balance? So why is this Not being addressed?) A god manifesting to personally apply to you if you're not interested with those available? Unless that's supposed to be the underlining message of mianite, maybe i'm missing something. That a non-godded legit neutral main isn't permissible. When that would be more interesting that everyone having the same "i'm a follower of a god" dynamics. It adds some diversity.

You could even have gods that don't "need followers" or prefer not to have any: whether it be they look down on 'mere humans' as fools and incapable servants, or they hold humans in such high regard as friends they would never put them in a subservient role. There's a lot more you can do than the same old leader/follower set-up... IF you are really going for more gods being introduced. (especially since there's not enough npcs/mains to be following new potential gods.)

Don't get me wrong. Human Martha was cool and used to be my fav npc. And Ianite and her conception came with awesome results. But a repeat of those similar circumstances for Martha is understandably not entertaining. Martha becoming a god, over something more interesting, and dragging the uniqueness of wag's character dynamics down with her, was the low of the season for me. Also a part of it's even as simple as wanting a new god that isn't directly related to the main three for once or who we aren't already super familiar with? Spice it up a little?

Not to say the writers won't do something cool with God Martha? But I'd be more intrigued by other (actually new character) gods we have no prior-knowledge about.
