It's funny how humans keep complaining about how hard it is to live, yet keep bringing more people to life.

Nothing just happens. Things require effort. One has to work at it and be persistent. Being competent and having responsibilities bring meaning. Most things in life are simple. But not easy. We make things complicated. People aren’t perfect. Things go wrong. How one deals with suffering is what matters. When you're dead or never born, then nothing happens. The fewer the number of people, the fewer human resources available to make things happen and get things done. People need variety and uncertainty to reduce boredom. Challenges help one get stronger and wiser. Bringing people to life is best for the species in the long run. If that is looked upon as something funny, then that's not a bad thing. Imagine how much more complaining there would be if life were too easy.
