G2 Esports vs OpTic Gaming / Northern Arena 2016 - Montreal Grand-Final / Post-Match Discussion (Spoilers)

What even is this.

You're trying to be hyperbolic but end up being an idiot.

Optic are a decent team and people generally accept that. Obviously hltv's rankings is iffy, but in general look at the teams in this event, then look at the rankings. Ignoring liquid for obvious reason, G2 then nV then optic is a fair order to place them in and G2 is far from unbeatable and optic have shown they can be a good team.

There's nothing wrong with saying optic were unlikely to win or saying G2 were favourites.

But then

Better to cut their invites and give them to EU, would result in more quality CS

Is still true, to begin with nrg were clearly not on par with the other teams there. The teams finishing in 9th,10th and 11th all came from na.

That's not to say na deserves no spots, but I'll say the same thing I did before the event, if you're aiming purely for the best competition, a 7-5 split makes more sense since Eu indisputably has more of the best teams. Obviously sk+C9 are locks and imt and optic have more than earned their place.
