[GAME] Unfortunately/Fortunately

At least you two didn’t all madly in love, get 4 or 5 years in and realize you’ve grown apart or maybe were never really all that compatible to begin with; just blinded by the intense passion that drew you together and sustained us for 3 or 4 years, never allowing you to fully realize the amount of effort you were putting in to maintain a relationship between two such completely different people. But as life got hard and you settled into a routine, you stopped putting in that same amount of effort and your mismatch began to eat away at the foundation you’d built resting solely on your codependency. So you break up and spend years grieving over the loss of a corpse that actually died months prior but to whom you were clinging for dear life. Thus, wasting another half decade of your lives on a semi permanent romance that just leaves you more jaded and scarred than when You started and less likely to find someone with whom to build a lasting relationship
