Genetic autism predisposition linked to higher self-harm rates, study suggests

I thought it was widespread. Personal experience is no judge as I’ve been involved in several autism forums before and have NEVER seen a single question about that.

There’s misconceptions in certain cases, that’s for sure, but what we’re focused on right now is HOW much.

There’s nothing in the diagnostic criteria that bars someone from receiving a diagnosis due to being successful. Career is one of the few things they don’t really bother with when assessing an individual’s disorder/personality. There’s just too much variation.
