You misunderstand. I'm not saying they're constantly on the verge of becoming monsters. I'm saying that tension between sex and morality wrecks people. It fucks humans up. We're already terrible at resisting temptation as a species.

Why are the sexual urges of pedophiles consistantly treated as something that can override morality at a whim? Is this how your personal sexual urges present themselves? Are you constantly on the edge of sexually violating everything you consider sexy, but manage to save yourself each time?
