GGG balancing the game around the top 0,1% of players who have huge amounts of time at their disposal is the single biggest mistake they repeatedly make. A simple observation and change in their mindset could imho bring back much needed long-term motivation for the average player.

The fact that low tier affixes aren't removed on high iLvl items is the biggest offender here. High iLvl affix pool is too deluded with low level affixes. It's a typical combinatorial explosion problem - rolling (1-8 tiers)^6 affixes where 70% of them are garbage creates the situation of astronomically unlikely outcomes.

Which proves that GGG is a morally bankrupt company. They understand very well what they did by introducing scourge. They don't want you to enjoy the game, they want you to become a gambling addict. Scourge is not for 0.1% players, it's for no one. Even top no-life players like Empyrion have only 1-2 scourged items equipped, which proves that the best scourged items cannot exist.

Gear progression is broken. I leveled 4 characters to ~85 level and they keep sharing the same gear between each other. iLvl 65-73 gear which cannot be upgraded without multiple exalts which I also cannot get despite trying every possible farming strategy.

Right now the game feels too grindy and unenjoyable. Uninstalled.
