I missed the line where you said she said you didn’t have the skill set they’re looking for, but that would be a useful thing to ask about too im my opinion... you could ask for feedback about which areas you could improve upon. In your situation I’d probably acknowledge what she has already said about it not being a good fit, and that you’re looking for your next opportunity, but that you value her opinion and would like to know which areas you can improve upon as you continue on in your career. I’d be riddled with anxiety opening this conversation lol, but again, I think for me I’d prefer to just have it all out in the open than have to wonder about it.
