I made modified part time after 1 year. I had medical/dental insurance (the same as that of full time people, just no dependents; it cost $20/month). I had 2 weeks PTO a year (same as my first 3 years full time). And I had a $1.35/hour pay into my 401K plan (since I was making $14.25, this was a 9% match, regardless of how much I put in!).

Maybe it just sounds like I drank the Kool Aid and am part of a cult. But I like my job, I enjoy the hospitality and other challenges it brings, I have a great work life balance, I work with amazing people, and I've never felt like my managers don't have my back (especially in the retail side of things).
