i needed this, actually. i'm in high school and this was kind of a bad week for me with clothes and all. on wednesday i tried wearing white denim and got called a lesbian at least 10 times in just first period alone. after that i just admitted defeat and shoved it in my locker. a few days after that I wore this white striped button down shirt that had a lot going on (i wanna explain but i don't wanna get called out or found by anyone i know, let's just say that it was kind of crazy but i really liked it) and was in kind of a similar situation except this time i lasted until 5th period and then i caved. i'm normally really confident and don't worry about this shit but this time it really mangled my fragile teenage self esteem. this girl i had a crush on said some shit like "he dresses gay AND he's not good looking" and that really stung. now that i'm not crushing on her i see how much of a dodged bullet it was but it still didn't feel very good. this is just rambling now and i'm tired as hell so i'm sorry if this isn't entirely coherent but oh well.
