Made this mistake with someone I'd known a long time—we dated briefly, but lived in different countries for a decade. We'd often be flirty & chat when we were both single.

Well, during the pandemic she ended up in the same country, met up for her birthday—she had gone on a date with some dude off of Hinge but they didn't do anything & that girl was going to get railed for her bday, so I leapt at the opportunity. We would talk on the phone nearly every day, I flew to her city & spent Halloween weekend with her, I kinda knew she was still seeing this other dude long-distance but chose to ignore it.

Then eventually when she was in my city for Christmas, she pulled the "I have a boyfriend" card & it was like.... who you've been cheating on for 6 months...

Cut off the friendship shortly thereafter because she's clearly a sociopath. I thought about finding the guy on Instagram to tell him that the first half a year of their relationship she was cheating on him, but it's easier to just let the whole thing pass away.
