Gwinnett man gets time served after sexually abusing captive teen | After keeping a teenage girl in sexual captivity for more than a year, Michael Wysolovski will not go to prison.

It’s extremely different in my opinion. I’m kind of surprised that you don’t think so (unless you’re under 18). I think even one year between the ages of 12-22 are huge developmentally. It’s just a really sensitive time. I’m not an expert on child development or anything so this is purely just my experience growing up. I know when I was 16 I already felt like an adult and I was completely comfortable around older men. A 21 year old guy tried to have sex with me at a party and I turned him down but it didn’t strike me as inappropriate at all until I was much older and realized it was. That’s why age of consent matters. Because adults should not feel comfortable having sex with teenagers just because the law allows them to. I also think 18 is REALLY sketchy but at least when you’re 18 you’re sort of in an adult world assuming you to go college or move out on your own.
