I don‘t get why so many comments criticizing AOC were downvoted. American politics is funny business. She publicly showcased her lack of knowledge in basic economics on two accounts (and I’m not talking about your typical Democrat-republican type of difference in perception). That’s her job and she’s not knowledgeable enough to carry it out. I get that she has good intentions. However to the rest of the world it is competence that matters - not your American left/right BS where both conservatives and Democrats don’t really care about who they are supporting. It’s about the enemy and who they are against. Criticizing AOC is not the same as being a conservative MAGA hat wearer. It can also be about unbiased common sense. Man world politics is funny.
