I hate being transsexual. Being trans is NOT some cool political statement, it's a mental illness

I've felt the same about this. Been dealing with Dysphoria since I was 11 (in my 20s now) and the constant struggle is mad. The waiting list for hormones is huge so I had to chose between ordering from sketchy websites or just ending it, would never wish that feeling on anyone.

I hope someone can give their two cents on this because I believe it would be a controversial opinion..

When people hear of LGBT the first three letters are about what gets your Johnny hard or your kitty wet. Then you get Trans which in my opinion is so far detached from that it's unreal. Yet people may see LGBT and assume trans is also a sexuality thing when it's really not.. I worry that leads to people fetishizing us or putting our legitimate mental health issues aside and chalk it up to just something sexual.

Am I the only one with that line of thinking?
