I'll throw in with Joe Smith. I'm not worried about how this will go in the long run

If Joe Rogan is somewhat honest and accurate (I'm not sure about this), you'd probably be better off throwing in with him.

1. Joseph Smith claimed that he could translate ancient Egyptian texts (he couldn't).
2. He said he wasn't practicing polygamy (he was).
3. He held a sham sealing ceremony to deceive his own wife.
4. He burned down a printing press for printing the truth about polygamy and his political/theological aspirations.
5. He pressured a 7 month pregnant, happily newlywed woman into being sealed to him (which also provided the impetus for BY to inject himself between Zina and her first husband Henry after the death of JS).
6. He completely besmirched the character of Martha Brotherton (both in GC and by spreading false affidavits) who, as it turns out, was the only person telling the truth about BY's proposal to her (a proposal orchestrated and assisted by JS).

Why throw in with such a person? I'm personally ashamed that I ever sang praise to the man.
