Haven’t climbed in 2/3 months

Why haven't you climbed?

Me? This year my gym (and home/community) closed. I don't see many of my clinbing buddies anymore. But I got outside more. But... Then the pain came. And my fingers stopped looking like my fingers. And I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

Right now I feel really lost. Sorry, life is just hard sometimes and really confusing. But you know what? This weekend I climbed 12 pitches at the City of Rocks. Because I love climbing and I want to do it.

My point... If you love something and want to do it, you'll find a way. Maybe climbing isn't really your thing? It's cool you've climbed "V5/6" but a number doesn't validate your existence. If you love climbing and it brings really meaning, you'll do it and the gym grade numbers really won't matter... If you don't love climbing, find something else that fits you.

Peace and light.
