Healthcare When?

You know people in the UK, France, and Canada are largely very happy with their nationalized medicine and when polled overwhelmingly do not want to switch to an American style single payer system. Personally, I’d rather pay more in taxes and know that when I do get sick I’m not going to get shafted by my insurance company or risk losing insurance if I’m laid off. If you’re a leftist there’s also the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing that your fellow citizens will all be taken care of in emergencies too. Lastly, we all know medical billing is the biggest pain in the ass of all time. With a nationalized health system we won’t have to deal with the confusing process of hospital billing - there will simply be fewer headaches because everything is already taken care of when you pay your taxes. After I broke my knee twice I’d gladly vote for Medicare for all just to avoid the convoluted process of medical billing.
