So I heard on the r/news Supreme Court rules that gay marriage is legal now nationwide. What do you guys think about that?

As a Christian, I fully stand behind the belief that gay marriage is wrong. It is clearly stated in the text of the Christian text that sex within the same gender is sin. No denying it. However, it also says to love each other and love your neighbor as yourself, even sinners and non-believers. But that's my PERSONAL belief.

I have no problem with gays marrying within the United States. I think it is everyone's fundamental right to pursue happiness in their own interpreted ways. If a gay needs a place to stay, I would welcome them into my home. As both a Christian and American, I have to find a middle ground where both belief and political views are met. I believe that ground is simple. Sure gays getting married(or other many sins) is a sign of the end times but doesn't that mean God's judgment is near and that we as Christians should rejoice?

However my problem with this entire event, especially within the last few years, is how the LGBT and other gay communities would pervert the Bible as a means of legitimacy/justification for what Christians view as sinning. Most, if not all Bible verses used by these communities are always taken out of context and always never know the theology of that text.

Now, I'm not saying that all Christians are perfect and I find it hilarious that society makes it a job to point out every mistake Christians make. Even the text Christians use says that not one person is perfect. But how can you use verses out of context for your own justification while completely ignoring the legitimate verses that you blame Christians on? In the end, the Bible teaches that no one can ever be perfect while we are on this earth.

The line that I draw is pretty distinct. As long as gay marriage and the church stay seperate, I am happy. I believe that nobody can just walk into a church and demand to be accepted and sue when they're not. You can't walk into a place of religion and demand them to change their beliefs. Because now things are not circumstantial, I believe that the lines of separation between of church and state will be very clear. As long as there is a strong separation of church and state, I believe that both parties can co-exist.

Oh and screw mainstream media news. They are only out for the profit and purposely stir controversies from all sides to create stories for viewers on their show.
