Heavy fighting has broken out between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces along the front lines of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region

Don't you get it? At first during the USSR times Stalin mixed lots of nations in differing territories exactly for these reasons: When USSR will fall, these nations will fight and claim lands. That's how it started.

Now after the fall of USSR and after the war...or should I say slaughter of 1992-93 Nagorno-Karabakh became occupied by Armenia.

Nowadays, I just want to say that the problem could have been easily resolved now. As an example Azerbaijan could give autonomy to Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan & Armenia both could work on infrastructure, industry, tourism (!!) and in general make this place habitable. This place would be still part of Azerbaijan and probably first time, Armenians would have to obtain visa in order to meet their relatives or something, but that would be first-time only. Then we would make peace and open our borders.

But no.

In order to get my point, I will show you the example in TV Show called House of Cards. In particular, the last quote of Frank Underwood (SPOILERS AHEAD):

"We don't submit to terror. We make the terror."

The government rules via fear, they are profiting from this state of cold-war because, people living in fear are EASILY MANIPULATED. You just have to point your finger and say "NOW YOU HAVE TO HATE HIM". People would ask Why?. And they would say "Because he is a traitor!". Now people are manipulated for almost quarter-century. People in Azerbaijan HATE people in Armenia. And do you know why? If you would ask them today, they would answer "Are you fucking kidding me? Because THEY ARE ARMENIANS".

I mean. If truly presidents would represent their people as it should be, the war would be over. Because people don't want a war.

Nobody wants to die because of a piece of land. We want peace. But, unfortunately people in control want more money to steal and more tameness.

It is sad to see my country get fucked by it's own government and pointing at Armenia.
