God created Adam in loneliness desiring a companion, we can understand a few things about reality and God from this gesture alone.

We can understand that God cannot create something outside of God, both literally and figuratively as what is outside of you is what 'you' are not; thus having been made in the Image of God it's apparent we exist within God.. God is not the Absolute Power.

We can verify that we exist within God formed in the image of God (Malkuth, the world) as a Universe and Law unto ourselves.

A Universe itself is inherently aware, perception is the defining quality in regards to what constitutes a Universe.

By observing our own perception, we can extrapolate ways to manipulate reality by interacting with the Living Mind of God to change it's own perception; quantifiable results emerge.

As a model-replica of Malkuth, we do have a collective-awareness, and therefore our own God.

Our God was too great and in desire to be close to the God of Malkuth, began taking 'Malkuth' into itself.

For this reason, Adam was fractured into many points which do not have a direct-perceptive connection and thus we exist as we are now; still Malkuth but the most base representation of it as individuals.

However as reality is fractal like you've mentioned within all of us dwells an image of our whole self and it's Will, this is the HGA or Spark of Divinity that rests within each person.

Of course degradation does occur due to compression when reducing the size of something by division, but this is negligible but enough to say that we each have an Image of God that is unique.

The true God of our Universe is more or less brain-dead and can only really exercise reactive operations relating to reincarnation, propagation and things like this.
