True, the second entry (for the child) has a death date, but it at least gives a starting point for final record searches.

If this was my framily, I'd head over to FamilySearch to check for records, if nothing there then MyHeritage and Ancestry (if you haven't got an account for Ancestry I can give a look for you), and then definitely try

Might find an obituary or maybe some other news articles.

Then I always check National Archives

may even have something on him if he was ever in the military or was like some of my ancestors and brought ridiculous lawsuits up against the govt long ago haha
