The woman’s boyfriend began using drugs again and selling them from her home along with Mr. Perry, Mr. Counts and a third man. But in September 1990, the men assaulted the boyfriend for failing to pay back a debt.

This is where I get conflicted. These men definitely did not deserve the wrongful conviction, but why were they selling drugs?

I know shit still happens to us despite our efforts to walk the line and uphold the law. But, when you do wrong and break the law, you have to know there are repercussions. Selling drug is wrong. Period. Assaulting another is wrong, period.

Im not saying what was done to them was fair or right, but wrong is wrong. All I can hope for is that people don’t miss this and focus on one big aspect. I also hope the civil suit goes well for them.
