Hey guys Luke Walton here.

Yes, and that amounts to a disaster for KCP. This season is his chance to show that he can excel with a new organization. In the event, he is only continuing in his career-long failure to truly progress; he is demonstrating the increasing unlikelihood that substantive improvement will occur anytime soon; he is further showing that he's unfit to play a starting role and probably won't be anytime soon; and he's playing himself into a probable dearth of lucrative contract offers in 2019. In no season of KCP's career has his performance amounted even to adequate, much less good; his good-but-not-elite defense has never been sufficiently contributory to balance out his horrid efficiency on offense.

I doubt that a full season at his current level of play will end his career, but he'd find very little interest in him come the offseason.
