Just wondering if you find it odd that youtube still has the video of Fox meathead Sean Hannity berating you about your Pat Tillman cartoon--but you can't find any of the Fox bootlickers' heated exchanges with Scott Ritter (former UN weapons inspector). Apparently the Hannity-Ritter exchanges might put propaganda on full display--so they scrubbed them from the internet. (do a search on youtube for "Sean Hannity Scott Ritter" or "Bill O'Reilly Scott Ritter"--you won't find any of the interviews.)
The media was in overdrive--as Bill Moyers' documentary BUYING THE WAR points out--but maybe this was more...maybe this was the Mighty Wurlitzer (the CIA's propaganda machine) which was chewing up anyone who dared criticize WAR, INC.
Other victims were Phil Donahue (forced off the air at msnbc for questioning if the U.S. should go into Iraq)...The press quoted UBL as saying he read William Blum's book--which threw him into a media firestorm (Blum is critical of U.S. foreign policy--and got to make his first and only appearance on C-Span)...
As for Pat Tillman, I never put the pieces together before--but the "friendly fire" killing doesn't hold water with me. His dad told the DoD to "FUCK OFF" (obviously his dad didn't believe it)...Pat Tillman was in Afghanistan and supposedly saw what bullshit the war was and had made plans to meet up with Noam Chomsky. Sounds to me like he was going to step forward and speak out--which was a direct threat to WAR, INC. Did some of Stanley McChrystal's boys take him out? Stanley McChrystal also spent time with Michael Hastings. During that time one of McChrystal's men told Hastings: "We'll hunt you down and kill you if we don't like what you write." Hastings used this quote in his book THE OPERATORS. Hastings also stated he was threatened in this manner in an AMA which the politics subreddit held 3 years ago.
