When I was 8 or 9, I made my parents miss our flight at the airport by almost hospitalising my dad. We were in the lounge getting food and drinks when I had the ingenious idea of spiking a glass of orange juice with Tabasco sauce in an attempt to prank my dad. I put in an abnormal amount of sauce into the juice and gave it to my dad telling him he had to try what I thought was the best orange juice I'd ever had. Now, at this point, I should point out that I didn't realise that Tabasco was a bit of a slow burner, because I looked on in horror as my dad proceeded to chug more than half the glass before I sheepishly stopped him, then watched in horror as his eyes widened at the realisation of what I'd done to him. So yeah, we missed the flight, and had to rent a car and drive 4 hours instead. That was one quiet car trip..
