I had 13 5's on AP exams, a 1550 SAT, and a perfect GPA all throughout HS. I didn't even apply to any T20 schools though due to having practically no extracurriculars, mostly due to not having transport. The extracurriculars are the part where you really need to have family support and stuff like that. Everything else can be achieved through pure self motivation though. It doesn't take a genius to excel in HS.

In all honesty, I'm glad I ended up not going to any of these schools. Many people there may be smart and become valuable connections, but being around people like in the video would kill me inside. Too many students accepted into these colleges go on massive ego trips
