my friend has been dealing with this for like half a year and won't say anything about it to her. she comes over for days at a time and he can't focus on shit. he admitted to me that he gets anxious on the days he's supposed to be off and alone because he's afraid she's going to find some reason to come over. he's terrified to admit that she's suffocating him because she's his first girlfriend that shares alot of interests/hobbies with him. it's bad enough seeing him possibly ruin the relationship because he can't draw boundaries that he most definitely needs, but he completely disappears on his friends when she's around too.

if you love her you gotta put your foot down man. this kinda shit will just build up into resentment. both towards her and towards yourself because you feel like an asshole for feeling like you need space from someone you care about so much.
