How To Avoid The Black Widow Scam - Woman in Argentina caught trying to drug/rob a man

I have some legit advice if anyone cares to read it. I have traveled in South America several times and have had relationships with many women down there. First of all, South American women can outperform North American women in just about every department--having been down there, I can't imagine ever dating an American woman again. That being said, it's a different world down there and you need to play it smart, watch yourself and the people around you.

The best way to avoid this scam is to not set your drink down unattended. Never set your drink down unattended and don't take drinks that have already been opened or poured from people you don't know. It's fine to watch the bartender pour a drink right in front of you, and trusted places may be safer to order a drink and not see the whole process, but keep in mind, some places the bartender or staff may be in on the scam (extreme circumstance). If you are a gringo, it is not unusual at all for beautiful women to hit on you or talk to you in South America, but you never really know who you're dealing with in South America, so you just have to play it cool and smart. Once a bitch realizes she can't play you, she will usually abort.

In this (staged) video, the man appears to be in a hotel bar. If you see local women hanging out in a hotel bar, especially if it is a known tourist spot, that is a red flag right there. She may not necessarily be trying to drug you, but she is probably a gold digger. When they were in the room together, (I know he was bating her) he should have poured the wine, put the cork back on, and put the bottle away--back on a shelf or something, then taken his glass with him to the bathroom when he left the room. You can do all these things and make it look natural. Another thing I would do is suddenly throw a wrench in their plans. When he switched glasses on her, that was excellent. They expect you to do one thing, then you do something different.

The final advice I have is just to not look like a mark. A mark is a target for a crime/scam. If you simply look like somebody that shouldn't be messed with, if you look like you have your wits about you, if you seem street smart, there's a 99% chance you'll never be scammed. They are looking for an easy opportunity. They do this for a living, they are clever, and they are skilled. Many of these women learn to do this from more experienced bitches and hone their skills over time. It is a culture of thieves. They learn who is easy and who takes work and who is high risk, etc. Don't fall into the easy category and you have that much more protection.

I don't think I've ever had women down there try to drug me, but I've definitely encountered gold diggers.
