How many languages do you speak and why?

For reference: I'm 17 years old.

I speak Danish, because I'm Danish. Oh well, at least it's not Swedish.

English, because that's what everyone else talked online, and I wanted to communicate with people. So, without school's involvement, I began speaking fluent English at the age of around 8-9.

German, because my granddad had taught me some at a young age, and because we had it in school. I'm not 100% fluent, but I'm sure the time will come!

(Some) Vietnamese, since I was in an exchange program with my boarding school, and I suddenly fell in love with a beautiful and smart Vietnamese girl from the partner school :) I really enjoy telling her, how much I love her in her native language.
