On another note, everyone in my family genuflects prior to sitting, as the aisle is in line with the Tabernacle, we kneel when we are supposed to during the mass and we get weird looks as few people kneel, and people sometimes get upset we don’t hold hands during the Our Father.

Along with this, my fiancé has a beautiful 9 year old daughter who has Autism and doesn’t speak...but she communicates through typing on an app on an iPhone. Inevitably, at some point during the mass someone will walk over and say how rude and awful it is to let our daughter text during mass.
