How do you be OK with becoming a SAHM

This describes some of the pros of being a SAHM well. I definitely think both my husband and I have more time to recharge. We also have more flexibility and less stress with me not working. I'm on week 2 of sick toddlers with croup. Guess what? I stay home and am not scrambling to find a babysitter or taking PTO (I didn't have) to care for them.

I also have a backup with a Master's, my old job and really family help on BOTH sides. I love having time and energy for my kids, rather than whatever is leftover after work (which for me wasn't a lot).

I think being a SAHM definitely improved my life, my husband's life and our family succeeds because I'm a SAHM.

But it certainly isn't for everyone and I do plan to go back to work. I still have 30 years until retirement but only 17 years left with my kids fully.
